    The 2024–2025 Academic Year Student Sports Festival of the Faculty of Management – International Economics Officially Kicks Off

    March not only marks Youth Month—a time when young people nationwide engage in dynamic and enthusiastic activities—but also signals the official launch of the 2025 Student Sports Festival of the Faculty of Management – International Economics. This is not merely a sporting event, but a gathering of teamwork, determination, and student resilience.

    On the afternoon of March 28, 2025, at the Physical Education Field of Lac Hong University, the Faculty of Management – International Economics solemnly held the Opening Ceremony of the 2025 Sports Festival, kicking off a series of exciting competitions. The event not only celebrated the 94th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – March 26, 2025), but also looked toward important national and institutional milestones:

    • 49th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025)

    • 139th International Workers’ Day (May 1, 1886 – May 1, 2025)

    • 28th Anniversary of Lac Hong University (September 24, 1997 – September 24, 2025)

    The ceremony was honored by the presence of distinguished guests and representatives:

    1. Dr. Nguyễn Văn Tân – Dean of the Faculty of Management – International Economics

    2. M.A. Tạ Thị Thanh Hương – Vice Dean

    3. Mr. Phạm Minh Tấn – Secretary of the Youth Union, Head of the Organizing Committee

    4. Ms. Trương Lê Bảo Trinh – Secretary of the Youth Union of Lac Hong University

    Along with faculty members, staff, Youth Union Executive Committee members, Student Association representatives, and over 100 students who attended to cheer for the athletes.

    The ceremony began with energetic musical performances that energized the sports field. The Organizing Committee then delivered the opening speech, emphasizing that the Sports Festival was not only about competition but also about fostering perseverance, solidarity, and fair play. The oath-taking by representatives of athletes and referees further affirmed their commitment to fair, dedicated, and exciting competition.

    And the long-awaited moment arrived—THE 2025 STUDENT SPORTS FESTIVAL OF THE FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT – INTERNATIONAL ECONOMICS OFFICIALLY BEGAN.

    Immediately after the ceremony, the atmosphere became even more vibrant with the tug-of-war competition. Strong team formations, tightly gripped ropes, and powerful coordinated pulls demonstrated unbreakable team spirit. Cheers of “Go! Go!” echoed across the field, fueling determination to bring victory home. Each match was not only a test of strength but also a testament to unity and perseverance.

    Following that excitement, the men’s and women’s sack race competitions heightened the thrill. Every careful jump, every stumble without giving up, reflected determination and resilience. The enthusiastic cheers filled the field as athletes gave their all in pursuit of victory.

    Beyond physical competitions, this year’s Sports Festival also featured engaging team-building games filled with laughter and challenge. Teams coordinated strategies, overcame obstacles together, and demonstrated strong teamwork. Barriers disappeared, replaced by firm handshakes, bright smiles, and shared joy.

    The first competition day concluded with an exciting football match, officially kicking off the king of sports. Skilled players showcased tactical intelligence, precise passes, stunning saves, and explosive goals that thrilled supporters.

    The Opening Ceremony of the 2025 Student Sports Festival of the Faculty of Management – International Economics concluded successfully, marking the beginning of an energetic sports season. Upcoming matches promise even more thrilling competitions and emotional moments.
