Nearly 1,500 job opportunities provided at LHU Career Fair 2024

LHU in collaboration with Amata City Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company on November 16 morning successfully hosted the Career Fair, the second time in 2024 attracting more than 80 businesses which provided nearly 1,500 job opportunities for students.

The Career Fair 2024 marks its fifth anniversary at LHU, serving as a bridge connecting students with businesses, reaffirming the University's commitment to providing students internship and employment opportunities.

Attending the opening session, from the provincial leaders, were Mr. Tran Quoc Toan - Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Vice President of the Vietnam - China Friendship Association; Ms. Tran Thuy Tien - General Secretary of the Union of Friendship Organizations, Vice President of the Vietnam - China Friendship Association. From businesses, sponsors, and partners, there were Mr. Le Quoc Thanh - CEO of Services and Operations of Phong Thai Group; Mr. Trieu Quang Bac - Deputy Director of HDBank, Dong Nai Branch; Ms. Tran Ngoc Thu Thao - Representative of Amata City Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company; along with 9 business associations and 70 enterprises accompanying and sponsoring the Scholarship Fund for LHU students. From LHU, there were Ms. Do Thi Lan Dai - Chairwoman of the University Council; Mr. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector; Mr. Nguyen Vu Quynh - Vice Rector; along with leaders and representatives of units under LHU.

The event received significant attention from businesses, sponsors, and students. This year's theme "LHU and businesses on the CSR Journey" gathered 80 leading enterprises in Vietnam, offering nearly 1,500 vacancies, including full-time and part-time jobs for students.

The LHU Career Fair 2024 also featured a variety of activities: product displays and exhibitions on corporate social responsibility (CSR); honoring and receiving corporate scholarships, and on-site interviews for students majoring in Economics, Engineering, Languages, and Healthcare.

Additionally, one of the highlights of the event was awarding scholarships for students under the "LHU students overcoming difficulties" Scholarship Fund. This year, the Fund value reaches VND 1,195,300,000 contributed by 35 business associations, along with more than 70 enterprises and individual sponsors from Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Long An, Tay Ninh, Dong Nai. The Scholarship Fund is an important initiative to support poor students in overcoming difficulties and maximizing their learning and career potential.
