Recently, in a solemn and warm atmosphere, The Faculty of Administration International Economics (FAIE) – Lac Hong University successfully organized the program “Welcoming Freshmen – Cohort 25.” The event was not only a heartfelt welcome to new members but also an important milestone affirming the Faculty’s commitment to building a learning ecosystem closely connected with practice, opening up numerous development opportunities for students from their very first days at university.
A highlight of this year’s program was the strong partnership and close collaboration with enterprises, associations, and reputable organizations both within and beyond the province.
Building a Strong Foundation through Strategic Partnerships
With a vision of training high-quality human resources to meet societal demands, FAIE signed Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) with five reputable partners corresponding to the Faculty’s training programs. This strategic step aims to create a comprehensive learning–practice environment, enabling students to engage with enterprises right from their time at university.
The strategic partners include:
Dong Nai Provincial Bar Association: Providing opportunities for internships, field practice, and access to practical legal knowledge in business.
Son Tien Tourism City: Offering a professional practice environment in the tourism sector.
911 Group Future Transport and Services Joint Stock Company: Connecting students with the dynamic fields of logistics and supply chain.
BIDV Insurance – Eastern Region: Delivering in-depth knowledge in finance, insurance, and risk management.
AI Education Development Company Limited: Partnering in updating technology knowledge and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for students.

Practical Support – A Solid Foundation for Freshmen
Clear evidence of the care and investment from partner organizations for FAIE students was reflected in the valuable sponsorship packages and scholarships awarded during the program:
Technology Support for the Digital Era: Representatives from the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology, the Vietnam Internet Center (VNNIC), and P.A Vietnam Company Limited presented 10,000 “id.vn” and “biz.vn” domain names along with accompanying digital services (Website, Email, etc.). Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Minh Quang – Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology – emphasized the importance of building personal branding and digital competence for students in the current context. He also expressed his hope that the 10,000 domain names would serve as a useful tool, empowering FAIE freshmen on their journey of study, innovation, and future entrepreneurship.
Scholarships for Students:
Novita Ceramic Manufacturing and Trading Joint Stock Company awarded a scholarship valued at 20,000,000 VND to the Faculty’s Scholarship Fund.
Ms. Hoang English Center granted a scholarship valued at 5,000,000 VND.
These scholarships will provide meaningful support for students facing financial difficulties, encouraging them to excel in their studies.
Enhancing Technological Competence: AI Education Development Company Limited awarded 1,000 scholarships for the Google AI Essentials course on the Coursera platform. This is a valuable opportunity for Faculty students to access internationally standardized AI knowledge and keep pace with technological trends.
Meaningful Welcome Gifts: Ajinomoto Vietnam Company prepared 500 gift packages for freshmen, demonstrating warm support and welcome.
From Lecture Hall to Enterprise: Practical and Insightful Sharing
Beyond material support, the program also served as a knowledge-sharing forum where students listened to valuable insights from experts. Mr. Do Tran Binh Minh – Chief Executive Officer of AI Education – provided updated perspectives on the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in modern business, outlining career opportunities and essential skills for the future. Additionally, sharing from representatives of Ajinomoto Vietnam about real business stories, corporate culture, and expectations for young personnel helped freshmen gain a clearer understanding of their future career paths.
The “Welcoming Freshmen – Cohort 25” program concluded successfully, bringing joy and excitement while delivering a clear message: FAIE and its enterprise partners always stand side by side with students throughout their journey of knowledge acquisition and career development.
Welcome Cohort 25 freshmen to the FAIE family! Wishing you a passionate, creative, and successful academic journey!
