AUN-QA International Conference 2024 and AUN-QA Chief Quality Officer's Meeting 2024

From December 11 to 13, 2024, a delegation from Lac Hong University participated in the AUN-QA International Conference 2024 and the AUN-QA Chief Quality Officer's Meeting 2024, hosted by Ton Duc Thang University in Ho Chi Minh City. The delegation, led by Dr. Lam Thanh Hien – Rector, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Lam – Vice Rector with oversight of Quality Assurance, Dr. Le Phuong Truong – Head of the Office of Educational Testing and Quality Assurance, and MSc. Ngo Dinh Hoang Diem – Deputy Head of the Office of Educational Testing and Quality Assurance, joined this significant conference.

The theme of the conference was “Innovating ASEAN Higher Education: Embracing AI Integration, Utilizing Databases, and Strategies for Future-Proofing Quality Culture.” The conference served as a prestigious platform for educational leaders, experts, and stakeholders to discuss strategies for enhancing education quality, especially in the context of AI-driven changes.

During the two-day conference (December 11-12), the discussion sessions focused on applying AI in higher education quality assurance in Southeast Asia, developing effective data ecosystems for governance and quality improvement, and building proactive strategies for a future-ready quality culture.

On December 13, the delegation attended the AUN-QA Chief Quality Officer's Meeting 2024, focusing on the evaluation of 2023-2024 outcomes and setting directions for the upcoming year. This participation not only demonstrates Lac Hong University's ongoing commitment to enhancing education quality but also provides opportunities to expand the international cooperation network and stay updated on the latest trends and initiatives in ASEAN higher education.
