Promoting technology applications in smart agriculture

One of the key topics discussed was the development of smart agriculture through the application of robotics and automation technologies in agricultural production. This field has the potential to promote innovation in production methods, improve resource efficiency, and meet the needs of modern agriculture.

By sharing experience and exploring each university's strengths in education and training, the two sides aim to strengthen cooperation in science and technology, creating opportunities for lecturers and students to learn about new trends in technology applications.

At the same time, linking education with actual production practices could help improve students' professional skills and ability to adapt to changes in the labor market.

Strengthening cooperation in food technology

In addition to smart agriculture, food technology was identified as another potential area for cooperation. The two universities may explore activities that match their respective academic strengths while expanding opportunities for academic exchange, sharing teaching experience, and gaining practical industry knowledge.

Through cooperation activities, students will have more opportunities to learn about advances in food processing, preservation, and product development. This can also help strengthen the connection between university education and the practical needs of businesses and the food industry.

Creating opportunities for internships and international experiences

The two universities also discussed the possibility of developing internship, exchange, and experiential learning programs for students. Expanding opportunities to gain experience abroad will help students apply what they have learned, develop professional skills, and improve their ability to adapt to international working environments.

For students majoring in Chinese Language, exchange and internship programs in China would also provide opportunities to improve their Chinese language proficiency, learn about the culture, and gain practical work experience. Through these activities, students can develop their language skills, intercultural communication skills, and professional experience.

Toward practical and sustainable cooperation

The working session between LHU and QAU provided an opportunity for both sides to share their strengths, explore suitable areas for cooperation, and discuss plans for future joint activities. By strengthening international cooperation, LHUcontinues to expand its network of educational partners, improve training quality, and create more opportunities for students to study, participate in internships, and engage in international exchange programs. The areas of cooperation discussed at the meeting will serve as a basis for both universities to continue exploring and developing programs that meet their respective needs and strengths.
