Cashew Essence is developed from cashews, a nutritious, environmentally friendly, and economically valuable agricultural product of Vietnam. Beyond being a vegetarian food product, the project aligns with the growing trend toward sustainable consumption and responds to the increasing demand for healthier lifestyles, highlighting both its nutritional value and social significance.

Before advancing to the final round, Cashew Essence had already been recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training as one of the outstanding ideas in the fields of Agriculture, Environment, and Energy. This recognition provided an important foundation for the team to further refine both their product and development strategy.

At the final defense before the National Startup Jury, the LHU student team demonstrated confidence, logical thinking, and strong practical implementation skills, ultimately convincing the judges with the project’s creativity, feasibility, and clear social impact.

SV.STARTUP 2026 attracted around 10,000 students along with nearly 50 businesses and experts, creating a dynamic environment for networking and the development of startup ideas. In this context, the success of LHU students reflects the University’s commitment to practice-oriented education, where entrepreneurship is nurtured as a long-term and sustainable journey.

The achievement at SV.STARTUP 2026 reaffirms LHU’s practice-oriented education approach in recent years. The university focuses on fostering a learning environment that encourages research, creativity, and the development of entrepreneurial thinking among students. At LHU, entrepreneurship is not merely a short-term movement but a long-term journey built through continuous effort where ideas are nurtured, developed into meaningful contributions to society.

Winning Second Prize at SV.STARTUP 2026 is not only a proud milestone for the Cashew Essence project team but also reinforces the growing presence of LHU students within the national startup ecosystem, opening up new opportunities for innovative ideas to further grow and develop in the future.
