LHU Book Festival 2026: Promoting a reading culture in the LHU community

In celebration of Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21), LHU organized the LHU Book Festival 2026 from April 16 to April 17, 2026, at the University Library. The event attracted a large number of students, lecturers, and staff, helping to foster a spirit of learning and research while promoting a reading culture across the LHU community.

The festival created an open and inspiring learning space where participants could access a wide range of learning resources and discover valuable books. A highlight of the event was the creatively designed book exhibition area, which drew many visitors to explore, browse through books, and capture memorable moments. Numerous new and recommended titles in fields such as academics, skills development, psychology, and culture–society were introduced, offering students useful suggestions for their studies and personal growth.

Beyond book displays, the festival also offered a variety of engaging interactive activities. Lecturers, staff, and students enthusiastically joined activities such as checking in at the book exhibition area, spinning the lucky wheel, and receiving meaningful souvenirs from the organizers. These activities created a lively and joyful atmosphere while strengthening the sense of connection within the LHU community.

As part of the program, five outstanding library users of the 2025–2026 academic year were honored and presented with gifts in recognition of their dedication to learning, research, and passion for reading. This recognition also encourages more students to maintain reading habits and make effective use of the library’s resources.

In addition, the festival served as an inspiring creative space for Multimedia Communications students, who had the opportunity to practice photography, capture memorable moments of the event, and gain hands-on experience in a real-world working environment.

With a wide range of meaningful activities, LHU Book Festival 2026 not only celebrated the value of books and knowledge but also helped spread a strong reading culture within LHU, encouraging students to develop lifelong reading and learning habits.
