Bridging Theory and Practice: Finance and Banking Students Visit and Gain Practical Experience at Techcombank Dong Nai

To strengthen the connection between classroom theory and the practical working environment, while enabling students to gain early exposure to professional activities in the finance and banking sector, on the morning of April 18, 2026, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Lac Hong University organized a field visit and practical learning session at Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) – Dong Nai Branch for students of class 25NH112, with the participation of 48 students and supervising lecturers.

The program was designed to narrow the gap between academic training and real-world business demands, allowing students to gain a more direct understanding of the professional environment within a modern commercial bank. This is one of the practical initiatives consistently emphasized by the Faculty as part of its application-oriented educational approach.

During the visit, representatives of Techcombank Dong Nai Branch introduced students to the bank’s operational model, corporate culture, modern transaction space, and the financial and banking products and services currently being offered. Students were also able to observe operational procedures in practice and listen to insights regarding development trends in the finance and banking industry in the digital era.

Importantly, the program provided valuable information on internship opportunities, recruitment prospects, and career development pathways for Finance and Banking students. Attractive career positions such as customer relationship specialist, corporate credit officer, financial analyst, digital banking specialist, risk management officer, and financial investment advisor were introduced in detail, helping students gain clearer direction for their future careers.

The event atmosphere was dynamic and engaging, especially during the direct interaction session between students and company representatives. Numerous questions regarding professional skills, interview experience, promotion opportunities, recruitment requirements, and the application of artificial intelligence in banking were thoroughly addressed, offering practical perspectives and strong inspiration for participants.

Through this practical experience, students not only reinforced their disciplinary knowledge but also had the opportunity to develop professional etiquette, communication skills, customer service thinking, and adaptability to a modern corporate environment. These are important assets that will help them confidently enter the labor market after graduation.
