The FFA Holds the Thesis Evaluation Council for Finance – Banking Students, Cohort 2022

On the morning of October 22, 2025, at Lac Hong University, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting successfully organized the Thesis Evaluation Council for Finance – Banking students, Cohort 2022. This is a major academic activity of the 2025–2026 academic year, marking an important milestone in the students’ academic journey while reaffirming the Faculty’s commitment to practice-oriented and career-applied education.

This year’s Evaluation Council comprised 12 members, divided into four specialized subcommittees, chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quoc Huy – Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, with Dr. Nguyen Van Hai – Vice Dean serving as Vice Chairman, along with experienced lecturers and industry experts in banking, finance, and corporate consulting.

In this round, students presented and defended more than 45 graduation theses focusing on highly practical and applied topics, including capital mobilization efficiency, credit management, risk management, digital banking applications, personal financial services, and green finance in the context of global integration.

Throughout the defense sessions, students confidently presented their research findings, demonstrating logical reasoning, data analysis, and professional application of theoretical knowledge. Members of the Council and reviewers raised insightful and in-depth questions regarding research methods, data reliability, and the practicality of proposed solutions, providing constructive feedback to help students refine and improve their work.

In addition to formal presentations, several interactive discussions and Q&A sessions between students, lecturers, and business representatives took place in a vibrant and academically rich atmosphere, creating valuable opportunities for learning and exchange. A number of outstanding theses were recommended by the Council for participation in the University-level Student Research Awards and selected as reference materials for future cohorts.

The event concluded in a formal yet inspiring atmosphere, leaving a lasting impression on both faculty and students. It not only reflected the academic maturity and research competence of the 2022 cohort but also served as a solid foundation for Finance – Banking students to confidently enter the professional, innovative, and globally integrated financial sector.
