Improving the credit risk management of the Agribank North Dong Nai Province branch

Abstract: This study analyzes data collected from 120 credit managers and employees working for branches and transaction offices of the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) - North Dong Nai Province branch and business reports of the branch over the period from 2020 to 2022. The study finds that the branch’s credit risk management is significantly affected by credit policies, the credit rating system, and human resources. Based on these findings, some solutions are proposed to improve the credit risk management of the Agribank - North Dong Nai Province branch in accordance with the branch’s business characteristics.
