Who says IT students only know how to code? At the preliminary round of the "Lac Hong Student Beauty" pageant, featuring the "Studio Challenge," contestants from the Faculty of Information Technology (IT) proved exactly the opposite. Moving away from the image of "bookworms" glued to computer screens, they brought a fresh wave of dynamism, confidence, and charisma.
In a professional studio setting, despite having only five minutes to express themselves, the IT Faculty contestants delivered "auto-radiant" performances, asserting a unique identity that refuses to be confined by their field of study.
A Spectacular Breakthrough: 6 IT Faces Enter the Top 46
Surpassing more than 160 talented contestants, six representatives from the Faculty of IT officially secured their spots in the Top 46 of Lac Hong Student Beauty 2026. This result is a testament to their relentless efforts and the courage to step out of their comfort zones.
List of the 6 IT contestants in the Top 46:
The Dedicated Mentorship of "Inspiration Fire" – Ms. Nhu Ngoc
Notably, the preliminary round featured guest judge MSc. Huynh Phan Nhu Ngoc—the Tourism Beauty winner at the 2025 International Culture and Friendship Pageant and a lecturer in Multimedia Communications at the Faculty of IT. In her role as a judge, she went beyond evaluation, dedicating her heart to directly coaching the students, refining every pose and facial angle to help them shine brightest in front of the camera.
The presence of a lecturer who is both professionally accomplished and a winner on an international beauty stage served as a solid source of support. Her positive energy and dedication helped IT students move forward with confidence, awakening their inner potential to master the high-pressure "Studio Challenge."
