To enhance communication capabilities within the context of digital transformation in education, lecturers from the Faculty of Information Technology at Lac Hong University recently participated in a professional journalism and communication training course designed for educational staff and officials.

The program was co-organized by the Southern Center for Education and Training Development (under the Ministry of Education and Training) and Tuoi Tre Newspaper. The workshop saw the direct participation of 30 staff members and officials from educational institutions across Southern Vietnam, while also being livestreamed to numerous educational units nationwide.

During the training, LHU’s IT lecturers were guided by a team of journalism and communication experts who shared practical insights focusing on core skills for modern educational communication, including:
- Effective news and content writing: Crafting professional articles that meet journalistic standards and are optimized for digital environments.
- Information consumption trends in the digital age: Understanding how audiences engage with content, particularly on social media platforms.
- Proactive crisis communication management: Skills for preventing and handling communication crises within educational settings.
Participation in this program not only helps faculty members update their practical knowledge but also contributes to elevating the communication quality of the Faculty of Information Technology, meeting the demands of innovation in the current digital transformation era.

In particular, the knowledge gained from this course will provide significant support for the teaching and training within the Multimedia Communications major. This ensures that students receive guidance closely aligned with professional realities, from content creation and messaging to brand image management and situational crisis handling.
