Explosive K-Trot Festival 2024 at LHU

On June 22 afternoon, 2024, LHU in collaboration with the Korean Cultural Association in Vietnam and Lifeplaza magazine hosted the K-Trot Festival 2024, bringing together hundreds of students from universities and colleges with Korean language training in the southern region of Vietnam.

Trot, a traditional Korean music genre, has undergone a strong revival in the past few years, attracting the interest of both young people and longtime music lovers. The 2024 K-Trot Festival is not only a musical event but also a cultural festival that brings people together to enjoy the Trot's sweet and profound melodies.

This year's K-Trot Festival attracted the participation of 16 Korean language training facilities in the South such as HCM City University of Education; HCM City University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Van Lang University, HCM City Open University, Hong Bang International University, HCM City University of Economics and Finance, HCM City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology, HCM City University of Technology, LHU, Van Hien University, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Dong A University - Da Nang, Van Lang Saigon College, Binh Duong Economics and Technology University, Dong Nai University of Technology and Saigon Polytechnic College.

The event, besides tightening the diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea, creates a colorful and unique festival space for the Korean language student community in Southern Vietnam.
