LHU to open Public Relations major

On June 7, 2024, LHU successfully organized an Appraisal Council to open a new undergraduate training program: Public Relations. This is an important step in LHU's development and Dong Nai province's educational system. LHU also plans to enroll students from the 2024 - 2025 academic year.

The hybrid appraisal session taking place in the meeting room, campus 1 was attended by Mr. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector; Mr. Nguyen Trong Vinh - Head of Office of Academic Affairs; Mr. Nguyen Khanh Hung and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung - Dean and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering; along with lecturers and related staff. Previously, the Council was established according to decisions No. 1336/QD-DHLH and 420/QD-DHLH signed by the Rector of LHU.

The Public Relations major not only equips students with in-depth knowledge of media activities but also helps them better understand the functions and roles of journalism in society. The opening of this major is a new stepping stone, creating favorable conditions for new students in the time ahead, while opening up many opportunities for learning and career development.

The appraisal session also received valuable comments from experts and participants, which contributes to improving the Public Relations training quality, meeting the demands of the labor market and society.
