Turning the school yard into a racetrack, car enthusiasts satisfy their passion

The finals of Lac Hong Racing Car 2024 took place on April 13, 2024 at the second campus of LHU, attracting the participation of 24 teams coming from the Department of Automotive Engineering Technology under the Faculty of Mechatronics - Electronics. Dr. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector; along with leaders and faculty members of the Faculty of Mechatronics - Electronics attended the event to cheer the participating teams.

Lac Hong Racing Car is an annual competition for students majoring in Automotive Engineering Technology. It is also a playground for enthusiasts to exchange and learn about Automotive Technology.

The model cars with different shapes and speeds were designed and made by students. They took from 3 - 4 months to just come up with ideas, designs ... until the cars were completed.

The team LH - Black Sheep winning the championship title

After fierce rounds, in the Serie A category, the team LH - Black Sheep successfully defended its championship title. The LH - GHOST team won Second prize and the team LH - Eco Speed 1 won Third prize. For Serie B, the petrol-driven car from the LH - TESLA team won First prize. The LH - POLICE team secured Second prize. The LH - Styrofoam Box won First prize in the Serie C category. The LH - Made In Heaven team was claimed for the Communication Technology Award.
