Talkshow "Career Orientation and Korean Business Culture"

To give Korean Studies-majored students an overview of career orientation and provide them with knowledge about Korean Business Culture, the Department of Korean Studies under the Faculty of Oriental Studies on May 17, 2024 organized a talk show "Career Orientation and Korean Business Culture" with the presentation of speaker Prof. Dr. Kim Kyu - Principal of Hangeul Saigon School.

The program also saw the presence of Dr. Nguyen Huu Nghị and MA. Nguyen Thi Nhu Thuong - Dean and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies; MA. Do Thi Thuy - Head of the Department of Korean Studies; along with lecturers and students of the Department.

The talk show is one of the career orientation activities to help Korean Studies students best prepare necessary knowledge and skills to enhance their professional qualifications. Through this, it helps students have earlier awareness and orientation about their own choices and decisions about future work.

At the program, Prof. Dr. Kim Kyu provided the participants with profound knowledge about career orientation, job opportunities, and future development of the Oriental Studies industry. He also introduced Korean corporate culture including ways of working, business etiquette, important rules to keep in mind when working at Korean businesses.
