LHU Summer Youth Volunteers honored

On September 8 afternoon, the provincial Youth Union, the provincial Youth Federation, the provincial Student Association and the provincial Team Council coordinated to organize a closing ceremony of the 2023 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign. 

On behalf of the LHU Youth Union, Secretary Truong Le Bao Trinh received a certificate of merit awarded by the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union

The 2023 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign included six main events, Tiep suc mua thi (Assistance for candidates during the national high school graduation examination); Mua he xanh (Green Summer); Hoa phuong do (Red Phoenix Flower), Ky nghi hong (Pink Vacation); and Hanh quan xanh (Green March). Through programs and campaigns, all levels of the Youth Union have implemented 1,054 youth projects with a total value of over VND 15 billion.

At the closing ceremony, on behalf of the Standing Committee of Provincial Youth Union, Secretary Nguyen Minh Kien acknowledged and praised the results achieved by the Youth Union officials and members in the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign. He also expressed his hopes that the youth union members in the coming time will continue to promote the volunteer spirit for the community to create a beautiful image of young volunteers in all walks of life.

On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union awarded certificates of merit to 77 collectives and 126 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign; commended 12 outstanding individuals in supporting athletes to participate in the national championships in badminton, table tennis, weightlifting, and boccia (for people with disabilities) in 2023.

LHU was honored to have summer youth volunteers to be rewarded at the ceremony. The Executive Committee of LHU's Youth Union was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for the 2023 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign. The Skills Club of LHU received a Certificate of Merit for the 2023 Green Summer. The Executive Committee of the LHU Student Association received a Certificate of Merit for the "Giving strength to exam season 2023" program. In addition, 6 individuals including Truong Le Bao Trinh, Chung Hoang Minh Duc, Le Trong Dai, Nguyen Phung Kim Khanh, Cao Phan Quang, and Nguyen Anh Duc were awarded Certificates of Merit for their outstanding achievements in youth programs and campaigns.
