Free Health Checkups, Medicine Distribution, and Gift-Giving Program for Vulnerable Populations in Thien Tan Commune

On the morning of August 18, 2024, the LHU Student Union collaborated with Long Chau Pharmacy, the Vinh Cuu District Young Doctors Club, and Thien Tan Commune Youth Union to successfully organize a program offering free health checkups, medicine, and gifts to 100 vulnerable households in Hamlet 6 and 7, Thien Tan Commune, Vĩnh Cửu District.

This meaningful initiative highlights the commitment of LHU Pharmacy students, young pharmacists, and healthcare workers to improving access to healthcare for disadvantaged and underserved populations.

As part of a broader series of humanitarian and social welfare activities, the program demonstrates a proactive and voluntary spirit toward enhancing community health. The beneficiaries included members of the local community, disadvantaged individuals, and immigrant families residing in the area, ensuring that essential support reached those most in need.
